About

The Hawaii International Music Festival is a non-profit (pending) organization that will bring together world-class classical music, coffee, food, visual arts, and Hawaiian culture. Each musical event will be a collaboration across different disciplines, exploring how to listen deeper with all our senses and discover a sense of wonder.

Hawaii International Music Festival's goal is to enrich the lives of the Hawaiian community by providing first rate musical performances and outreach events, especially in areas where access to classical music is limited, thus building artistic and educational partnerships within the community and helping to strengthen the classical musical landscape in all of Hawaii. HIMF also strives to create performances which are fundraisers for various local causes which can benefit the community at large.

This project is the brainchild of the XIV International Tchaikovsky Competition Prize Winning violinist Eric Silberger and Metropolitan Opera Soprano Amy Shoremount-Obra.

Hawaii International Music Festival (HIMF) is a sponsored project of Fractured Atlas, a non-profit arts service organization. Contributions for the charitable purposes of HIMF must be made payable to Fractured Atlas only and are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.
