HPP Cares, Los Angeles, CA, Monday, January 13, 2025 - HPP Cares, a non-profit HUD Counseling Agency, announces a Homeowner Resource Fair for individuals affected by the Los Angeles Fires.

Friday, January 17, 2025 | 9 am – 5 pm
The event will feature:
• 9 am Press Conference featuring State and Local policymakers and announcing new State legislation for expedited permitted and more flexible guidelines to “Build Back Better”
• Presentations for property owners at 10 am, 1 pm and 3 pm by HPP Cares on:
o Emergency housing placement
o Mortgage Assistance
o Insurance Advocacy and Claim Submission
o Rebuilding Assistance
Space is limited to 500 per presentation so individuals must register at https://LA_Fires.eventbrite.com
• A resource fair from 9 am to 5 PM where homeowners will also meet vetted contractors, vendors and other organizations who can help rebuild their lives.
• Emergency meeting of Los Angeles-area permit staff at 11 am in the Deaton Auditorium to review forthcoming State legislation and discuss expedited permitting processes.
Those wishing to donate funds for housing assistance may do so at https://www.hppcares.org/donate.php. Those wishing to donate goods are encouraged to drop them off at their local Salvation Army, Goodwill and Foodbank.
