About

**Hear No Evil – Australian Deaf Dog Rescue**

Hear No Evil – Australian Deaf Dog Rescue is a registered, volunteer-run, foster-based rescue dedicated to giving deaf, blind, deaf-blind and other special needs dogs a second chance at life.

Founded in 2014, Hear No Evil operates nationally, rescuing dogs from pounds, shelters and private surrender situations across Australia. We specialise in dogs that are often overlooked due to disability, medical needs or behavioural challenges, helping them transition from uncertainty to loving forever homes.

Our mission is not only to rescue and rehome dogs, but also to educate the community about the incredible potential of deaf, blind and special needs dogs. Through training support, public awareness campaigns, events and advocacy, we work to dispel common myths and demonstrate that dogs with disabilities can live happy, enriched and fulfilling lives.

Every dog in our care lives in a foster home where they receive individualised support, positive reinforcement training and the opportunity to develop the skills needed to thrive in a family environment. We provide ongoing support to foster carers and adopters to ensure the best possible outcomes for both dogs and their people.

Hear No Evil is proud to collaborate with other rescue organisations, trainers, veterinarians and community groups, believing that by working together we can save more lives and create better outcomes for vulnerable dogs.

Our vision is simple: a world where deaf, blind and special needs dogs are valued for their abilities, not defined by their disabilities.

Hear No Evil is a registered charity.
