Hera was founded by Portuguese-Indian aviation CEO and philanthropist, Marianela Mirpuri, who is the present CEO of Hera.  The organization is an inclusive non-profit that promotes, educates and elevates women, as key to achieving sustainability of human development around the world.  Hera is creating a global network providing women entrepreneurs with the skills and opportunities essential to scalability. Hera is establishing a diversity of educational, social justice and sustainable initiatives.

Hera’s mission is powered by ACTION: Enabling women to get an education, make a profitable and sustainable living, and own a home of their own. It combines mentorship, leadership development, and network support essential to achieving equality for all and in all aspects of work and life, the uplifting of women .  

The actualization of Hera will be a physical city: Hera City which will be a Smart Green City for the future of humanity for all genders, religions, nationalities and in honor of women, bringing together students, thought leaders, business leaders, scientists, innovators and artisans. These groups will join together at conferences, workshops and live events.  Hera City is planned as full city development including homes, condos/apartments, schools, hospitals, hotels, retail and restaurants. The city will provide tourism and leisure for all genders, nationalities and religions.
