High Drive Pups (HDP) is a dog training and boarding business located on the West Side of Cleveland, close to Lakewood and Edgewater Park. It is locally owned and operated by Head Trainer Roxana Vlasceanu.
HDP offers results-oriented, reward-based customized behavior modification and obedience training, including private sessions (in-home or at the training center), group classes, training daycare and in-kennel training (board-and-train) packages, as well as overnight boarding and grooming.
HDP also works with local rescue organizations - boarding, evaluating, rehabilitating and training dogs available for adoption. The support extends to helping Rescue volunteers train and manage foster dogs in their own homes.
Roxana has been working with and rehabilitating shelter dogs since 2010. She is an active volunteer for several animal welfare organizations including No Kill Ohio, a non-profit organization dedicated to networking urgent animals from city shelters. Since 2011 she has also become involved in Protection Sports, and is currently cross-training her Dutch Shepherd Zulu in Schutzhund/IPO, French Ring, Mondioring and personal protection. Some of her other training interests include competitive obedience, agility, tracking and detection work.
