About

We are a non-profit organization for veterans operated and founded by veterans. Our goal is to capture each transitioning veteran ideally within one year prior to their discharge to Train, Mentor and Coach them in job placement. The motivation behind this effort is to create a National approach to reduce Veteran unemployment that will allow employers an overall talent acquisition and retention strategy by making veterans a part of their workforce. We offer industry best practices and theory to meet current and future hiring and retention needs through the employment of Veterans. Hire Our Heroes stands ready to assist veterans looking for a new career or employers who are eager to hire skilled professionals!

The Problem
Employment is probably the top priority after health during the transition from the battlefield to the home-front for veterans. There are over 1 Million current unemployed veterans and another 1 Million separating from the armed forces over the next 5 years, and we need to support them just as they have supported us and our country’s freedom. These transitioning veterans have been left without employment and have little guidance during the transition from active duty.

The Solution
As these veterans change out of their uniform, we need to be ready, willing and able to welcome them back into the civilian workforce. We are committed to providing them with the tools necessary to secure employment. Our team of veterans is ready to Train, Mentor and Coach these transitioning veterans into
the civilian workforce. We will accomplish this by offering one-on-one monthly coaching and mentoring sessions by enlisting veterans and volunteers out of Corporate America, networking events, and group training across North America.

Traction & Accomplishments
Hire Our Heroes makes impact daily, assisting veterans with resume writing, social media training, and connecting with employers looking to hire veterans. We continue to assist veterans with gaining full-time employment.

All of this is done for free for the service members. As you can imagine, providing these services is costly. We are not a government agency - we receive no funds from the government. We rely solely on donations to fund our work
