About

Hodsock Priory is a 19th century country house wedding and event venue set in 800 acres of countryside on the border of Nottinghamshire and South Yorkshire. The family home of the Buchanan's has been restored to become a luxury, award-winning wedding and event venue. Apart from the breathtaking views, 16th century Tudor Gatehouse and 800 acres of gardens, woodland and rolling fields, Hodsock offers total exclusivity. Only one event is held at a time, so the Buchanan's home is 'yours for the day'.

Couples looking for romantic wedding venues in Nottinghamshire and Yorkshire, often book the popular all inclusive Grand Wedding package, bringing together all the essentials of the big day, from exclusive hire of the house and gardens, wedding breakfast, cake, flowers and DJ plus more.  Fans of Snowdrops seeking a winter wedding or extra wow factor, book the all-inclusive Snowdrop Wedding package. And brides or grooms wanting to blow the budget and whisk their nearest and dearest family and friends away to celebrate, opt for the house party-esque three day wedding experience.

From Saturday 6th February to Sunday 6th March 2016, Hodsock's famous Snowdrop Gardens will be open to the public. Visitors enjoy a stroll amongst four million snowdrops and colourful winter blooms. In late spring (the first two weekends in May 2016) the gates open again for visitors to enjoy the stunning, fragrant Bluebell woodlands.

Groups may go ‘behind the scenes’ of Hodsock Priory and learn about the secrets of Hodsock with an exclusive house talk and tour.
