In 1958, the Minnesota Restaurant Association, Minnesota Lodging Association and Minnesota Resort & Campground Association came together to form a management entity to operate the three associations collectively. The management group is called Hospitality Minnesota. The three associations focus on government affairs and advocacy on behalf of the members, education, marketing and networking opportunities. In addition, Hospitality Minnesota operates the Upper Midwest Foodservice and Lodging Show, an annual showcase of products and services for the industry. Finally, the three associations are partners in the Hospitality Minnesota Education Foundation, a nonprofit foundation with a two-year high school curriculum in our industry and providing scholarships to students pursuing higher education in our industry.
