As a multi-service organisation, ICYS provides a range of support programs and activities to assist and empower young people to make positive choices and decisions for their future. Each year ICYS provides direct services to approximately 6000 young people across 4 Local Government Areas (Ipswich, Lockyer Valley, Somerset and Scenic Rim council areas).
ICYS provides a range of services in the Ipswich and surrounding community,
including:
Housing assistance to young people aged 12-25 years and accommodation for parents aged 16-25 years with children
Engagement support for young people aged 12-17 years at risk of disengaging (and newly disengaged) from education
Employment and training support for young people aged 15-19 years with an
intellectual disability
Information, advice and referral to any young person, family member, carer,
service provider to assist young people to access support
A range of community events and activities targeted at young people in need
