ILANGU NGO Empowers Youth with “The Power of NO” Anti-Drug Campaign
Chennai, July 15, 2025 – ILANGU, a dedicated non-governmental organization working to combat drug abuse and instill moral values among youth, successfully conducted its powerful inter-college campaign titled “The Power of NO” on July 11, 2025, promoting a united stand against drug abuse among college students.
Over 500 students from 20+ arts and science colleges in and around Chennai participated in the campaign, contributing through impactful posters, short films, essays, and artistic expressions. The initiative ignited critical conversations around drug awareness, peer pressure, and the courage it takes to say "NO."
The campaign was graced by distinguished chief guests:

The venue for the event was generously sponsored by Annai Veilankanni College of Arts and Science, West Saidapet. Students from Don Bosco College of Arts and Science, Soka Ikeda College of Arts and Science, Mar Gregorios College, and Women's Christian College actively participated, coming together in a spirit of volunteerism and solidarity.
In a grand culmination, Don Bosco College of Arts and Science was awarded the Overall Trophy Winner of “The Power of NO” 2025, celebrating their outstanding contribution and student engagement.

The campaign also marked the official launch of ILANGU’s new logo and website, symbolizing a renewed commitment to guiding young minds toward a life beyond addiction.
