About

I hope this letter finds you well. I’m writing to you not just as a candidate for Goose Creek City Council, but as your neighbor, your friend, and someone who deeply cares about the future of our community.

My life has been devoted to service—protecting others, caring for family, and doing what I can to make a difference. From a lifetime career dedicated to the safety and well-being of others, to raising children and caring for loved ones, I have always believed in the power of compassion, responsibility, and community.

Goose Creek has been good to us—it’s a place where families grow, friendships flourish, and we feel a true sense of belonging. But we must be vigilant in protecting the character and quality of life that make this city so special.

I’m running for City Council because I believe we must take care of our own. That means making decisions that preserve our neighborhoods, protect our natural environment, and ensure that Goose Creek remains a place where future generations can thrive.

We are facing the growing pressures of overdevelopment and increasing population density. While growth can bring opportunity, it must be smart, sustainable, and in the best interest of our residents. We must prioritize infrastructure, green spaces, public safety, and the preservation of the hometown feel that brought us all here.

I want to be a voice for the people who live here—for the parents, the retirees, the small business owners, the working families, and every neighbor who wants to see Goose Creek continue to be a place we’re proud to call home.

We must stay neighborly. We must look out for each other. And together, we can ensure that Goose Creek remains strong, beautiful, and united.

I humbly ask for your support, your trust, and your vote.

With gratitude and hope,
Ingrid Centurion
