Founded by educator Lee Kaltman, Ithaca Toys Company is a mission driven startup that offers hand-crafted educational toys. With our support for workforce development, ethical labor, and sustainability, the company is more than the products we create.

For the last couple of years, Ithaca Toys has worked to develop its product and train its workforce development partner to offer people with disabilities job training. The company’s flagship product is NumberBLOX, a set of 0-to-9 wooden dominos. While a domino set may not seem unique, each piece in the set is. After all, wood is natural, elegant, and beautiful. With NumberBLOX, students can learn numbers, play games, build structures, and appreciate the uniqueness of nature through wood.
