About

Junior Achievement is the world's largest organization dedicated to giving young people the knowledge and skills they need to own their economic success, plan for their future, and make smart academic and economic choices. JA programs are delivered by corporate and community volunteers to provide relevant, hands-on experiences that give students from kindergarten through high school knowledge and skills in financial literacy, work readiness and entrepreneurship. Today, JA reaches four million students per year in 124 markets across the United States, with an additional 5.8 million students served by operations in 119 other countries worldwide.

Junior Achievement of Delaware serves students in the entire state of Delaware as well as students in Cecil County, Maryland and students in Salem County, New Jersey.  In the 2013-2014 academic year, JA of Delaware served over15,000 students through its innovative in-class and experiential learning programs.  JA experiences focus on seven key content areas: business, citizenship, economics, entrepreneurship, ethics/character, financial literacy, and career development.
