JDM Imports manifested one morning over coffee and a routine tune up. Two friends were working on a car and talking about diesels and diesel Land Cruisers.
We noticed that Land Cruisers are one of the few rigs that can pass for just a reliable daily driver, low gear off-road crawler, or tricked out lifted monster truck. We also wished that there were more diesels in the States -- so we decided to import some.
Our business plan is more of a mantra: Find classic, affordable, diesel trucks in as close to original condition as possible. We figured everything else would just work itself out.
The reason we have such a limited inventory is because we only import the rigs we'd be happy keeping for ourselves.
