Mr. Young is an experienced journalist/writer/author/photographer/and public relations account executive who specializes in insurance licensing information and education. He earned the B.A. in Journalism at San Diego State College (now University), CA, and the Master of Religious Education degree from Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary, Mill Valley, CA. He served as a combat journalist assigned to the Seabees with MCB-121 in Gia Le, Vietnam in 1969, where he was awarded the Batallion Commendation.

A licensed CA property-casualty insurance agent-broker, Lic 0D40070, Mr. Young currently is an independent agent-broker in the Greater San Diego Area. He is the author/editor of  five c.e. courses approved by the CA Dept. of Insurance:
