About

Who’s going to be the team to make history at the 2020 NBA Draft? Jason “4mplifi2d” Watts aka The Canadian Stat Stuffer is one of the most efficient players entering the 2020 draft.

Watts averaged 17.9 PPG,10.1 RPG, and shot FG% 54.6, 3PT% 46.4 FT% 78.2 this past season at Lambton College in Ontario, Canada, a small school in the OCAA conference.

Watts' scoring abilities at all three levels is most comparable in this draft class to fellow sharpshooter Aaron Nesmith. So why isn’t he on anyone’s draft boards?

With Canada's own Toronto Raptors winning the 2019 title, and Canada constantly developing high-level athletes, isn’t it time the NBA draft an athlete from a Canadian University. After all, William Njoku was the last athlete from a Canadian university drafted in the NBA since 1994.

One can only hope Watts’s journey to the NBA will help change the narrative and open new pathways for athletes in Canada, but only time will tell.

I would love to get this conversation started.
