Jeff is a highly successful strategic and operational leader with deep expertise gained at GE, Danaher and most recently Smith & Nephew in global end to end supply chain, manufacturing, strategic procurement, distribution, technology development, sustainability, and acquisition integrations. As a member of these Executive Management teams, his accomplishments have been focused on driving sustainable change/transformations by designing long term strategic plans backed by short term action plans and metrics. Further, he has been the go-to guy to turn around problem operations, lead numerous integrations of poorly managed acquisitions, and direct plant operations throughout Europe, China, Thailand, Mexico, Brazil and India, drawing on his 17 year perspective of international market intelligence.

Most recently, Jeff was Senior Vice President Global Operations at Smith & Nephew Corporation, a $4+ billion global medical technology company, where he directed all manufacturing, distribution, procurement, sustainability, facilities management, and quality departments. At S&N, he transformed their Operations by leading the entire corporation through full Lean implementation across all manufacturing and distribution sites, developing a strategic procurement organization, optimizing the manufacturing footprint by closing four high cost facilities and building two new facilities in China, and implementing a sustainability strategy. These efforts delivered over $250M of savings while improving quality and service levels from 85% to 95%. Jeff also served as Chairman of the Board of Directors for Smith & Nephew’s China Manufacturing Business.

In his previous position, Jeff was Vice President of Global Operations – Gilbarco/Veeder-Root Division at Danaher Corporation where he led operations in an $800+ million organization that included 11 global manufacturing locations, customer service, quality, and global sourcing. His accomplishments included integration of 5 companies utilizing the Danaher Business System, and Lean conversion delivering material cost reduction in excess of $25 million.

Earlier in his career, Jeff spent 13 years at General Electric Company (Lighting Division), where he held several manufacturing and operations positions with expanding scope. During this period, he drove GE Lighting’s first ISO9002 certification, OSHA’s VPP STAR award for two of his sites, led transfers of manufacturing to both Mexico and Hungary, and was a member of the GE Materials “Board of Directors”. His last role was Plant Manager of three locations where he had full budgetary accountability for operating costs of $100+ million.

Jeff is Six Sigma Green Belt Certified, E.I.T. Certified, has served as the CARE District Chair and has received numerous awards for distinctive performance at GE. He received his Master of Science Degree – Chemical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University, and his Bachelor of Science Degree – Chemical Engineering from West Virginia University.
