The Buchanan Museum focuses on the exhibition, conservation and preservation of fine works of American and European art spanning over 400 years of history.  With a primary focus on paintings, the Buchanan Museum features important works from major art history movements such as Expressionism, Neo-Expressionism, Impressionism, Post-Impressionism, Surrealism, Fauve and Realism.  The Buchanan Museum also features exhibits dedicated to the Hudson River School artists, as well as periodic exhibits of emerging artists.
