JoAnne Bassett is an award-winning couture master perfumer and the founder of JoAnne Bassett Perfumes, established in 1993. For over three decades, she has devoted her life to the sacred art of all-natural botanical perfumery — creating bespoke couture fragrances entirely from rare vintage essential oils, wildcrafted absolutes, and precious plant extracts sourced from around the world. Parfum in Oil JoAnne's Parfum in Oil collection represents the oldest and most intimate form of fragrance — worn directly on the skin, blending with your natural chemistry to create a scent that is uniquely yours. Each parfum is blended at 32% parfum strength in organic jojoba oil and fractionated coconut oil, presented in a 5 ml glass bottle in a signature black logo gift box with a descriptive scent card.

Presented in a bespoke artisan box of exceptional craftsmanship, the Codex is offered privately to a single steward. Years ago, JoAnne was offered $1.5 million for just two of her formulas. The Codex contains 70.
