The Practical Press is the publisher of fiction and nonfiction books. It has published four books, all from the British author Julia Wood, focused on psychological examinations of human behavior. The Practical Press is a companion operation to The Soaring Press, which has specialized in aviation books focused on the specific aviation subset of soaring, or gliding.
