About

RealWebMarketing.net's mission is to improve the quality of your presence on the web, and increasing the number of leads or sales you are getting from your website.

We have a great deal of experience in designing web sites and blogs, with any of the latest features that you would need or want, including full service shopping carts and advanced Flash features.

Our team has decades of marketing experience, and we believe this is an important element in your success on the web. In many cases today websites are designed by IT professionals who have no knowledge or experience in marketing. This is NOT a good idea, because a website is a marketing tool, whether you are selling a product, a service, or an idea. Our marketing experience helps to get your website functioning and firing on all marketing cylinders.

Here are just two of the many services we offer:

“Full Search Engine Ranking Package”

The new package includes a number of steps including:

  1. Researching keywords in order to find words and phrases that have decent levels of traffic, but that also have few other sites competing for those keywords.
  2. Optimizing the web site for the top selected keywords.
  3. Submitting articles to article directories, also called content hubs, that utilize the targeted keywords. The company has identified certain article directories out of the 1,000 or so on the web, that allow articles to be submitted with links within the article body, back to the marketer’s web site. This allows the marketer to include “anchor text” in the article, or keywords that are linked back to the web site.
  4. Setting up blogs for articles and press releases with anchor text linking back to the company’s main site.
  5. Writing optimized press releases, that incorporate the top keywords that the company is targeting, and putting these up on a blog for releases and up on several online PR sites.
  6. Putting articles up on Squidoo and HubPages, linking back to the company’s web sites and blogs. These sites allow you to put up photos and videos promoting your products.
  7. Putting up a corporate page on Facebook, with links to all the company’s web sites and blogs, and including photos and videos. Then one can promote for people to join as fans, who then automatically get your further promotional items.
  8. Linking to all the company’s web sites, blogs, Facebook page, and pages on Squidoo and HubPages, on social bookmarking sites like Delicious.com, Digg.com or Stumbleupon.com.
  9. Setting up accounts on social media sites such as Twitter, LinkedIn, Plaxo, Facebook, MySpace, and posting updates and information on these accounts on a regular basis, anywhere from weekly to daily.

Anchor text, which means keywords that appear on another site that link to your site, are the most important thing you can get in terms of improving your search engine rankings. Reciprocal linking, which used to be the main method that website marketing consultants used to create anchor text, doesn’t work any more. Google changed their algorithm in May to no longer give credit for reciprocal links.

So the best way to get anchor text now is through article directories that allow it (we know which ones do), social media sites like Squidoo and HubPages, and social bookmarking sites.

So that’s the new best recipe today. By doing all these things, you can be proactive. You don’t have to take the idiotic approach that Google recommends and write good content and then wait for people to find it and link to it. You’re in control. You create the content. You put it up all over the place. You create the anchor text. You create the rankings. Let’s get ranking!

"Blog Setup & Design"

Blogs are a great way today to build links to your main site and drive traffic to your site.

There are several benefits of blogs.

  1. You post something and then send out a notification to blog search engines such as Technorati.com. This notification is called a ping. That gets your new content into the blog search engines and drives rather immediate traffic to the blog.
  2. You have links from the blog going back to your main site. These links are in the sidebar or sidebars, and in the content of the blog posts.

So each time you post something to the blog you are adding more quality links to your main web site, and because the content is being put immediately into the highly trafficed blog search engines, it drives traffic to your blog, and through the links, to your main site as well.

It is important once you start a blog to post something to it once a week. The post can be anywhere from 150 words to 1,000 words.

We can even ghost write a regular article that can be posted to your blog, consulting with you on what topics you would like covered in the blog posts.
