Joshua Home Safe Haven was created for at-risk LGBTQ Youth who are homeless on the streets, staying with friends, in mainstream shelters or in foster or group homes that are ill-equipped or unwilling to address and accommodate their needs. Of the many youth shelters in Southern California few if any are trained, experienced or sympathetic enough to address the specific challenges LGBTQ Youth face when homeless, helpless and alone.
