About

Established in 2009.

Kristina Hess started KR Hess Law in 2009 (formerly known as Haymes Law Group, PC) after practicing law for prestigious firms in San Francisco and on the east coast.   Kristina grew up in San Diego County and was thrilled to return and open her own firm so that she could focus on making a positive difference in people's lives and to help them create legacies that last.
Kristina lost her own father suddenly and knows first hand how important it is to have your legal affairs in order and that no one is promised tomorrow. Her mission is to empower you to protect your loved ones when you cannot and to create a legacy that lasts.  Your legal legacy through wills, trusts, and estate planning and perhaps something more through an inspirational or charitable legacy.

KR HESS LAW focuses exclusively on wills, trusts, estate planning, child guardianship and protection, PROBATE, small business planning, mediation, LEGACY BUILDING, and asset protection planning.

KR HESS LAW centers on a team approach, flat fees, and goal to be your lawyer for life.
At her core, Kristina Hess, Esq.  is a strategic, yet creative thinker with analytic legal skills and experience to efficiently equip you with the legal instruments to protect your hard earned wealth and, were something ever to happen, ensure that all you have earned throughout your life, stays within your family structure.  Prior to establishing her own firm, Kristina has a proven track record with over 16 years of experience, highlighted with San Francisco's prestigious law firms such as Shearman & Sterling and Pillsbury Winthrop.   Her extensive "best practice" experience has been focused in a wide variety of complementary practice areas to include Estate Planning, Living Trusts, Family Owned Business, Trust and Estate Mediation and Conflict Resolution.  Added to this, she is a co-author of Amazon's best seller book, More Than Money - How to Leave a Lasting Legacy to Your Family.
Kristina is a graduate of UC Berkeley (Boalt Hall) Law; MA UNM; BA UCSB.
