As a Washingtonian, Kathy Pippin has lived for more than 30+ years in the DMV area. She has witnessed a lot of changes and growth in the Northern Virginia area over the years. She went to a public high school in Arlington, and then an engineering school in MD. After many years of working in technical sales with technology and satellite companies, she made a career change to a field she loves, which is real estate. As a real estate investor and a professional realtor for over a decade, she has had the pleasure of helping families buy and sell properties across the Northern Virginia area.

Kathy’s sales, negotiation and marketing skills come to play when she helps her clients sell for highest possible market price, or buy at the best possible market price. Her approach is consultative and enjoys strategizing with clients to come up with a plan that works for them. She believes in educating clients and present them with pros/cons of every situation. What sets Kathy apart from other realtors is the target marketing she does for both buy and seller clients. Most realtors don’t know what target marketing is and how it is done. She feels that she has been blessed to have a great marketing team that focuses on that alone. In addition to paid advertisement, Kathy believes in staging and helping seller clients with preparing the property for sale. Kathy Pippin is also big on education and loves educating clients of the market conditions, and process as that helps with having a smooth sale for them. Lastly, she dives into research on builders and what they can offer for those clients who are looking for new construction homes.  

When it comes to business partners, Kathy only works with lenders, settlement companies, inspectors, and contractors who can deliver the same top-notch quality of service and value to clients, and that is NOT negotiable for Kathy.

Clients like to work with Kathy because she is patient, ethical, loves to strategize with them and that she has a small team, where there is no miscommunication that can happened between top and the bottom in a large real estate team. Her approach of taking care of clients has earned Kathy many happy clients who continue to refer their friends and families to her.

Kathy believes in helping to build great communities and has served on local Elementary school’s PTA board as the VP of Fundraising and business fundraising chair for several years now.

Kathy also contribute to some charities that mean a lot to her, such as Doctors Without Borders, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and House of Ruth. For every house she sells, she donates financially to those charity organizations. In addition, she runs neighborhood-charity drives to help underserving families in the Northern Virginia area through FacetsCares, and NVFS non-profit organizations. She is grateful for serving and giving back to the communities she holds dear to her heart.  

On a more personal note, Kathy lives in Northern Virginia with her family and enjoys cooking, arts, traveling, audio books, playing with her dog – Rosie, and most of all spending time with family and friends.
