About

The Royal House of King David of the Independent Kingdom of Mann is an autonomous historical institution and sovereign nation-state under international law, founded by the Celtic King Godred Crovan of Mann in 1079, and combined with the royal line of King Fulk of the Kingdom of Jerusalem from 1118.  (It’s sovereign status is similar to that of the Vatican or Knights of Malta.)

The Royal House was officially legalized and recognized under UK law as the “Independent Kingdom of Mann” by Queen Elizabeth II in 2007 and the Anglican Church in 2009, as an autonomous part of the UK constitutional monarchy system.

Recognition was granted by royal assent and royal proclamation of the British Crown, through publication in the London Gazette, having legal effect by force of law under the Crown Office Act of 1877, Section 3.3.

This legal fact was further confirmed in 2013 by a United Nations registered NGO legal centre institution, that has publicly issued an official Barrister's Opinion of Law.

The Independent Kingdom of Mann serves as an "Empire of Philanthropy", engaging in non-profit historical preservation and charitable operations, and its Royal House functions as a diplomatic corps, engaging in diplomatic relations with other royal and ecclesiastical institutions and foreign governments.

The Independent Kingdom of Mann is backed by infrastructure support from multiple United Nations NGO institutions.
