About

Label Free, founded in June 2019 by Deanna, emerged as a podcast following her departure from the fashion industry. Deanna's journey into podcasting was spurred by an email she received detailing how to start a podcast for less than $100. With input from her cousin and her best friend, who also serves as a co-host, the Label Free Podcast was born.
The motivation behind Label Free stemmed from Deanna's desire to shed the weight of societal labels and judgments she had accumulated throughout her life, which had been a result of her journey to overcome trauma. She was determined to share a message of love, acceptance, and inclusion with the world. Deanna firmly believed that every individual deserves to be accepted and loved unconditionally.
After launching her first introductory episode and delving into the podcasting realm, the podcast's message resonated with numerous people across the globe. Over the course of four years, Label Free has evolved into one of the top podcasts globally, continuously attracting a diverse range of guests and garnering support from its fan base.
Deanna has maintained an aggressive release schedule, with episodes of Label Free released on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and an additional show called "Behind the Labels" with co-host Jules B released on Tuesdays. In total, Label Free has released 463 episodes to date and has received an impressive 438 5-star reviews on Apple Podcasts. It has also earned 97 recommendations on Alignable and has accumulated over 1 million downloads. On YouTube, Label Free boasts 12,000 subscribers with video views exceeding 300,000.
According to Listennotes.com, Label Free ranks in the top 0.5% of all podcasts globally, reflecting its widespread popularity. Additionally, Voxalyze, another visibility platform, provides statistics that showcase Label Free's remarkable performance in various countries on both Spotify and Apple Podcasts, consistently ranking in the single digits.
What began as a passion project driven by Deanna's personal experiences has grown into something much larger and impactful than herself, reflecting the podcast's global reach and resonance with audiences worldwide.
