About |
Lacy Rasmussen is the founder of MindShift Connections and Program Coordinator of Wildflower Mountain Ranch, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping adolescent girls heal through relationship-centered, trauma-informed care. Her work is built on the belief that lasting change begins with understanding the brain, creating safe relationships, and empowering people to recognize that they are more than the experiences that shaped them.
Drawing from neuroscience, Humanistic Neuro-Linguistic Psychology (HNLP), Internal Family Systems (IFS)-informed principles, mindfulness, attachment theory, trauma-informed practices, and emotional regulation, Lacy helps individuals, families, and professionals better understand how the brain adapts to stress, trauma, and life experiences. Her approach focuses on replacing shame with curiosity, helping people move from survival patterns toward confidence, resilience, and lasting personal growth.
Through MindShift Connections, Lacy provides coaching, education, and personal development programs for individuals, business owners, executives, and leaders seeking meaningful transformation. Her coaching emphasizes identity, mindset, emotional intelligence, leadership, and neuroscience-based strategies that help clients recognize limiting beliefs, strengthen self-awareness, and create sustainable change in both their personal and professional lives.
At Wildflower Mountain Ranch, Lacy works alongside a dedicated team to create a safe, nurturing environment where adolescent girls can heal emotionally, develop healthy relationships, build life skills, and reconnect with hope. The program combines evidence-informed therapeutic approaches with experiential learning, education, animal-assisted experiences, family involvement, and a relationship-centered philosophy designed to help each girl rediscover her strengths.
Wildflower Mountain Ranch believes healing happens through connection rather than punishment. Rather than asking, "What's wrong with you?" the team asks, "What happened to you, and how can we help you heal?" This philosophy guides every aspect of the program, creating an environment where girls feel seen, valued, and supported as they work toward emotional wellness and greater independence.
Lacy is passionate about making neuroscience understandable and practical. Whether she is coaching a business leader, teaching families about nervous system regulation, developing therapeutic educational materials, or mentoring young women, her goal is to help people understand that their brains adapted to protect them—and those adaptations can change. She believes that awareness creates choice, and choice creates transformation.
In addition to her coaching and nonprofit work, Lacy develops educational resources, group curricula, therapeutic journals, children's books, workshops, and community outreach programs designed to make mental health education accessible, engaging, and rooted in compassion. Her work integrates evidence-informed practices with real-world application, helping people build emotional resilience, healthier relationships, and greater confidence.
Through both MindShift Connections and Wildflower Mountain Ranch, Lacy is committed to creating environments where healing, learning, and growth are possible for everyone. Whether serving a young girl beginning her healing journey, a family seeking hope, or a leader striving to become their best self, her mission remains the same: to help people understand their minds, strengthen their relationships, and discover that lasting change is possible.
At the heart of everything she does is one simple belief: every person deserves to be seen, every story deserves hope, and every life has the capacity to grow beyond its past.
