Landfill Reduction & Recycling has just opened Wisconsin's first construction and demolition (C&D) recycling facility North of Milwaukee. The facility is located on 5.5 acres in Appleton's Northeast Industrial park and designed to accept up to 300 tons C&D material material per day.
To maximize the of recycling material, owner Jason Salisbury and Rick Tritt purchased an existing facility located just one mile from the Highway 41 and 441 intersection. Our site location makes it easy and economical for material generators from Oshkosh to Green Bay to haul to our facility, while diverting tons of material from Wisconsin's landfills, says Salisbury, President of Landfill Reduction & Recycling.
The processing facility is over 30,000 sqft and includes a 7,000 incoming material storage area with two 30 feet high doors, A 44,000 pound screen to remove all the small material under 2 1/2" refered to as "fines", a series of 60" wide conveyors, and a 20' wide by 70' long picking platform.
