Leaping Cat Creative is a multidisciplinary technical problem-solving company based in Beaufort, North Carolina.

We help businesses, organizations, and individuals figure out difficult technical problems and turn them into practical solutions.

Our work often begins with problems that do not fit neatly into a single product, department, vendor, or technical specialty. A challenge may involve software, equipment, electronics, automation, infrastructure, data, operations, or physical systems all at once. Several people may understand pieces of the issue, but nobody is responsible for understanding the whole system.

Those are the kinds of problems we are built to investigate.

Leaping Cat Creative works across software development, cloud and infrastructure, automation, embedded systems, electronics, systems integration, prototyping, data, physical design, and fabrication. We are not tied to a specific technology or predefined service. The goal is to understand what is actually getting in the way, determine the next useful step, and build or coordinate the right solution.

That might mean connecting systems that were never designed to work together, automating a manual process, developing a proof of concept, creating a specialized device, investigating a recurring technical problem, designing a new workflow, or determining whether an idea is technically feasible before a larger investment is made.

The company was founded by Jamie Starling, whose background spans more than two decades across enterprise technology, cloud infrastructure, automation, software, systems engineering, networking, electronics, and technical leadership.

Leaping Cat Creative is also developing its own products and technical projects, including Leaping Cat Model Maker and Leaping Cat Model Effects. These projects reflect the same approach used in client work: start with the problem, understand the larger system around it, and build the missing piece.

Those problems often fall between existing specialties, and they usually need someone willing to step back, understand the entire system, and take ownership of figuring out what should happen next.
