In the mid-2000s, a young aeronautical scientist was assigned to Mission Control at NASA's Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas.
After supporting the first ten expeditions to the International Space Station, he found himself in charge of a research and development lab, was awarded several patents and was working on advanced spacecraft "center of gravity" systems for future human spaceflight missions.
In 2017, he fell off a paddle board.
With all the experience and resources he had available at NASA, right then and there, he decided to design a better paddle board.
