About

Pedestrian vehicle collisions are rising across Canada and the US and spike during wet, low lighting conditions.

LifeLight Umbrella is a new invention that offers a flashing LED light on top of the umbrella canopy to alert drivers of a pedestrians presence. In addition the umbrella has two layers of lighting reflecting trim and a built-in flashlight handle designed to light up a pedestrians body and the ground in front of them.  LifeLight Umbrella also keeps pedestrians safe when using crosswalks in windy urban corridors by a wind protection system enabling wind to be vented to prevent the umbrella from collapsing. It also may be the last umbrella one has to purchase as it features a technology pocket designed to fit common Bluetooth trackers. A tracker can alert a user on their mobile phone should they leave their umbrella behind at a premise.
