The industry has evolved and integrated green building practices across the board, which has been the success of many working towards this goal. Light House continues to pursue its mission to catalyze the industry. Through resource innovations, Light House has launched a National Industrial Symbiosis Program (NISP®) in October 2017. NISP® Canada is a program working with actors in the industrial sector to develop shared business-to-business relationships to mimic symbiotic relationships in nature (waste equals food) resulting in waste reductions and reduction in carbon emissions.
