The LHR covers 15 counties in Northwest and North Central Pennsylvania, highlighting the critical role the lumber industry has played—and continues to play—in shaping the region’s economy, culture, and future. As a 501(c)(3) organization, LHR is dedicated to promoting the region’s assets to visitors, supporting the Pennsylvania hardwood industry, and ensuring the continued economic impact of this vital sector. The Lumber Heritage Region of Pennsylvania covers the following counties: Cambria, Cameron, Centre, Clarion, Clearfield, Clinton, Elk, Forest, Indiana, Jefferson, Lycoming, McKean, Potter, Tioga, Warren.
