With the reduction in manpower in modern times inflatable products have been become more popular for their ease of use and rapid deployment. Today inflatable products are used worldwide in such diverse scenarios as natural disasters, major incidents and humanitarian missions where rapid response is required. MFC Survival products have been used in earthquake disaster areas including Kobe in Japan and Mexico City, and in the aftermath of terrorist attacks such as New York 9/11 and the London Underground bombings.

One of the leading ranges that the company design and manufacture is the Inflatable Rapid Response Shelters. These have a variety of uses for emergency services, commercial, military and humanitarian applications. They include uses as incident control centres, temporary mortuaries, medical outposts, storage areas and many more. The Inflatable Rapid Response Shelters are also used in conjunction with decontamination equipment to create complete decontamination units. The MoD has purchased many MFC Survival Rapid Response Shelters to complement their requirements on base and in the field, as well as to achieve their SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and to facilitate successful conclusion to their ARU (Annual Report on Unit) strategy and planning.
