MISS INDIA WORLDWIDE CANADA is a production that is held annually by the renowned D-T International Inc.

MISS INDIA WORLDWIDE CANADA is directly affiliated to MISS INDIA WORLDWIDE owned under the banner of the Indian Festival Committee (IFC) and Mr. Dharmatma Saran, New York. It is Canada’s number one cultural pageant ever produced.

In its 7th year, the pageant features contestants from all over Canada, promoting talent true to the South Asian & Canadian culture. The pageant offers unique opportunities in the entertainment industry and self-rewarding experiences for young women.

The pageant is usually conducted in four segments featuring Indian wear, Evening wear, Talent and Question and Answer period. The winner represents then goes on to represent Canada internationally at the MISS INDIA WORLDWIDE finals held in different countries around the world annually.

In the past years, Miss India Worldwide Canada (MIWC) 2005 - Simran Singh landed in the top 10 at Miss India Worldwide 2005 in January 2005; MIWC 2006 - Nital Gosai also came through to top 10 while being crowned as Miss Congeniality at Miss India Worldwide 2006 in January 2006. In 2007, MIWC 2007, Sapna Sehravat, represented Canada and ended up placing as 2nd Runner-Up and bagging the Miss Best Talent sub-title from 18 other countries in New Jersey, U.S. on April 8th at Miss India Worldwide 2007. To top it off, MIWC 2008, Uppekha Jain,  placed as 1st Runner-Up and won the Best Smile sub-title from 18 countries, at Miss India Worldwide 2008 held in South Africa on Feb 28th 2008.

Our present winner, Miss India Worldwide Canada 2011, Minu Jose represented Canada at Miss India Worldwide 2011 in Dubai, UAE and finished among the Top 12 among 28 contestants worldwide. She was also the most well-spoken and talented contestant at the international competition.
