What began as simple bedtime rhymes to help my sons, Austin and Tyson, learn to read has grown into a brand-new children’s series:
???? Lost and Found
???? The Cat’s Meow
???? A Day at School
Long before Martin the mischievous marble was dodging cats and tumbling through classrooms, these poems first taught my sons how to read and then secondly were part of a local “learn to read” program in 2014—spotlighted by local media. Just as poems.
Now, with original illustrations by my sons, now grown,— The pictures were drawn and coloured at various times of their years growing up while managing learning challenges through creativity and individualized education plans.
They are finally ready for families and classrooms everywhere. We are currently releasing Volume 1 which features 3 stories. There are more to be released in the future.
