This research was completed as part of an MBA at Blekinge Institute of Technology (BTH) in Sweden by Abed Al-Malik Jberi and Abdul Salam Jeber. It examines how industrial organizations can adopt artificial intelligence through a human-centred lens that emphasizes trust, adaptability, and employee engagement. Based on a survey of 40 engineering professionals, the study finds a clear adoption gap: while most respondents expect their AI use to grow, current trust, confidence, training, and organizational support remain limited. Drawing on the Prosci ADKAR change framework and Knapp's Relationship Model, the study identifies four conditions for effective adoption — transparent communication, explainable AI systems, role-specific training, and sustained organizational support.
