Our program is a very thorough preparation for a new breed of massage therapists. In this world, it is not enough to simply be able to rub someone with lotion; graduates from our program will receive thorough training in Swedish, deep tissue/sports massage, pre-natal massage, hot stone massage, Reiki, crystal and energy healing, body wraps, and more. In addition, we will cover anatomy and physiology, kinesiology, self-care for the massage therapist, ethics, building a successful massage business, and students will participate in our well-established, busy clinic setting for a minimum of 200 hands-on hours. The program is extremely flexible, combining a low-residency in-person requirement with the convenience of distance learning. With an affordable payment structure, our program makes massage training accessable to almost anyone. Our program is approved by the Vermont Student Assistance Corporation and there are some grants available.
