The company’s eXtremeDB® DBMS product family solves key data management challenges ranging from the need for real-time performance, zero administration and “smart” features on field-deployed devices, to Big Data analytics on the servers that aggregate and crunch data from devices.
Other DBMS may include one or two of the same performance-enhancing features such as in-memory data storage, columnar data handling, fast native APIs as well as high-performance SQL, and a short execution path, but lack “real” database capabilities such as ACID transactions. eXtremeDB offers all of them plus a rich assortment of additional development and run-time features.
