Hyderabad, 28th Jan, 2022: Medicover Cancer Institute, a well-known organization working in the field of cancer research and treatment is all poised to conduct an open event on 4th of February, 2022 on the occasion of World Cancer Day. This international day is observed globally to raise awareness on cancer and its prevention, detection and treatment. Moving ahead with the theme of “Close the Care Gap”, Medicover Cancer Institute’s in-premises event is a call to action that aims at closing the gap in cancer care, through its various initiatives.
This year, Medicover is coming with walk-in yoga session for the cancer patients and the survivors to encourage self-care and promote the importance of active lifestyle in cancer care. All the participants of the event would be issued free health-checkup coupons and complementary gift hampers. The core purpose of this event is to encourage the cancer fighters and engage them in physical activity, which is key to staying healthy and positive. Not only this, the event would also mark the reiteration of timely screenings, regular health check-ups, and preventive measures. It would be conducted by the experts and attended by dignitaries and a number of other reputed guests.
