Amplicon's Industrial Computing group supplies and supports a full professional computing range that includes industrial computer solutions, rackmount computers, panel PC/HMI, PXI systems, rugged computing, displays, PCI expansion, industrial motherboards, Mini ITX, embedded computers and rack cabinets.

Standard industrial computer systems can be tailored to meet end user needs for mounting, form factor, performance, functionality or specialist industry approvals. All Amplicon's industrial computers are subject to a total system soak test, and a burn-in report is supplied to all customers. An on-site warranty is included with all standard systems.

The Data Communications group at Amplicon has over 20 years experience in meeting customer's demands in this very competitive sector of the industry. Amplicon provides both gateway and infrastructure products for applications in factory automation, utilities, military, transportation and many other markets. The company has been quick to build a strong portfolio of wireless and Industrial Ethernet products and technical knowledge to fulfil the strong demand from customers for WiFi and GSM/GPRS solutions. Amplicon has also recently added specialist USB extenders and fieldbus gateways to strengthen its line card, ensuring any networking requirement is met.

Amplicon's Measurement and Control group incorporates products for data acquisition, signal conditioning, instrumentation and test & measurement. The comprehensive choice of products from the group includes PC software, hardware and accessories for measuring, recording and controlling variable signals from physical processes, devices for converting and manipulating signals, panel meters and controllers and bench-top tools such as oscilloscopes, multimeters and signal generators.

Technical assistance or on-site demonstrations are available to ensure the customer chooses the right product for any application. Almost all products are kept in stock for next day delivery.

Total Solutions:

Customers can combine products from all three of Amplicon's product groups to build complex test, control and automation systems. A strong portfolio of support services enables the company to provide a complete solution to end users. These services currently include on-site warranty, bespoke cable assemblies and custom enclosures. Training / consultancy is also provided based on customer objectives, while installation and testing services are offered for both copper & fibre based industrial networks - typically RS485 or Ethernet. Amplicon also supplies customers with a calibration service, providing certification of a measurement device against National or International standards.
