With almost 20 years of experience as an artist and designer, Katie created the Welcome to the Brightside Agency. The company works with a melting pot of creative’s in all spectrums of the arts to deliver unique projects, wallpaper, murals, books, illustrations, and installations. Imagination and production show no limits. Clients include Kimpton La Peer Hotel, The West Hollywood Design District, The City of West Hollywood, Disney, Sesame Street, The Magic Castle, Yamashiro, The Farmer Daughter Hotel, and many more.

Recently with an invitation to design two mural artworks for Pasadena Showcase House, April 26, 2020, Katie devised a new company, The Digs Collection. Digs is short for diggings, both words slang for home.

It will be Katie’s first range commercially available to the public, with mural-size wall art with matching kimono’s.

However, it's not your typical homeware company. The company has appropriated the original motto and uses  ‘home is where your toothbrush is’ which brings to mind ‘home’ is ever-changing. A bit like the quest to understanding who we are and our purpose on the planet. We’re curious energy that shifts and changes. The digs collection, therefore, reflects this metamorphic concept as a tangible artwork in your home, in your personal sanctuary, for you to wake each day a new butterfly and to begin another day of transformation. The philosophy is to evoke the home with aspiration, either of who you are or who you want to become.

Graduating with a BA in fashion at Kingston University, UK, 2001, Katie moved to Treviso, Italy, where she worked as a designer at the United Colours of Benetton. In 2002 she relocated to Sydney, Australia. In 2012 the aMBUSH Gallery hosted her first of many solo exhibitions where 1000 people attended opening night. This successful exhibition inspired a thirst for further education, MA Fine Art, Central Saint Martin (CSM), London. After graduation Katie sort advice from a White Witch to where she would live happily-ever-after. A week later Katie fulfilled that prophecy by moving to West Hollywood.
