About

For decades, over 40,000 annual visitors have been exposed to new ideas, methods of creativity and new experiences at the Monmouth Museum. The Monmouth Museum presents thought-provoking rotating exhibitions in the areas of arts, culture, science, and history, and nationally renowned talent along with the work of NJ artists. The Exhibitions are curated by our Exhibitions Committee and through partnerships with guest curators and national organizations.
For children who visit with their families and schools, the Museum has developed strategies to make learning fun by employing hands-on, participatory activities which engage and focus young visitors. For instance the Becker Children's Wing's exhibition "Ancients to Astronauts; How We Communicate" encourages discovery for elementary school children ages 7-12 years and their families, as they explore the theme of communication through interactive displays an activities.
