Mission statement

1. To help ensure that those suffering from malnutrition or other nutritional problems are appropriately recognised and managed (adopted from BAPEN, UK)

Aim

1. To improve the nutritional care of people at risk of malnutrition and food adulteration whether in hospitals or in the community.

2. To improve the basic and advanced clinical research and to organize the consensus statements about clinical care and care quality control.

The IAPEN Lifelong Learning Initiative provides stimulating, congenial, and varied opportunities designed specifically for lifelong learners in advanced clinical nutrition research.

In order to promote life long learning in basic and advanced clinical nutrition and to facilitate the academic pursuits of more number of clinical nutritionists, doctors, dieticians from the educational institutions, hospitals and health care settings, The Society for Clinical Nutrition and Metabolism (IAPEN) annouces various distance learning/online courses
