The North Carolina Defense Business Association provides information, connections, and networking opportunities to members to build relationships and promote defense related business within the state of North Carolina.

The North Carolina Defense Business Association is comprised of a group of businesses with interests in military contracting, government affairs and supporting the state’s military installations.

The purpose of the Association is to build the Defense and Homeland Security industry clusters at military installations in North Carolina.

The state has a viable economic opportunity that is certainly within our grasp. The focus of the Association is to provide information to defense contractors to enhance their contracting capability to benefit from this economic opportunity.

The Association is comprised of a vast networking group of defense contractors, private businesses, Chambers, Economic Developers, municipalities, military leadership, Universities, and Community Colleges that is reaching across the state to provide a networking opportunity that promotes doing business in North Carolina.

The Association serves the state of North Carolina. With members from locations such as Greensboro, Wilmington, Cary, Raleigh, Sanford, Fayetteville, Southern Pines, Pinehurst, Durham, Charlotte, Jacksonville and many places in between.

Meetings are being held that provide valuable information regarding our military installations which continue to grow in size and mission requirements. Guest speakers discuss topics that are pertinent to defense contractors and that encourage continued growth in North Carolina. Members also participate in workshops, business to business breakfast meeting, and other networking opportunities throughout the year to build their business contacts.

Committees allow opportunities for NCDBA members to become engaged in the NCDBA to provide information, feedback and input to the Board of Directors.
