National Council of Higher Education Resources

The National Council of Higher Education Resources (NCHER) is a nonprofit trade association that represents members dedicated to helping families achieve their postsecondary education goals and pursue rewarding careers. NCHER members take a holistic approach to student success, and they are the experts people rely on for help accessing, completing, and paying for the skill development pathway needed to thrive. NCHER members raise students’ awareness of their postsecondary education options, operate scholarship and grant programs to promote college access, disburse student loans to encourage program completion, and guide families to long-term financial security by offering them specialized support services needed to repay student loans and stay out of delinquency and default.
