About

Northern Nevada Veterans Resource Center a division of Veterans Resource Centers of America (VRCOA)  is a non-profit organization partnering with the Department of Veterans Affairs on the Supportive Services for Veterans and Families (SSVF) grant which focuses on homelessness prevention and rapid re-housing.

VRCOA has been working with homeless and extremely low income veterans in   various programs for over 35 years through its five sites in Northern California.
NNVRC which is its first site outside of     California opened its doors to Veteran families in need on October 1st 2012.

We are actively serving veterans from  all eras.

The return to civilian life for these veterans is challenging due to the  impact of prolonged tours of duty, service-connected disability, and the trauma of combat (PTSD).
