About

NeuroScience Foundation is the result of the hard work and passion of Marshall L. Nash, MD, FAHA, CPI.   Dr. Nash is the CEO of NeuroStudies.net, Decatur GA and the Director of Stroke and Neuroscience Research at Gwinnett Medical Center.

NeuroScience plans to accomplish our mission by increasing the number of physicians conducting clinical trials.  Our signature program with Gwinnett Technical College, Clinical Research Principal Investigator, is the 1st of its kind in the country.  Training interested physicians from every discipline to participate in medical research will change the way research is done.  It will speed up the time it takes for a pharmaceutical drug or medical device through FDA approval and to market.   Every dollar invested in research will save $13 in healthcare.  Our education program will also encourage individuals to participate in a clinical trial and consider clinical research as another option for treatment.   NeuroScience Foundation offers a quarterly “Coffee and Conversation” to education interested individuals about Alzheimer’s disease, Stroke and Parkinson’s disease.   Dr. Nash speaks about health risk, disease progression, treatment options, and latest research.

Later plans include supporting the clinical research field with educational programs to help people within the clinical research field be more efficient and effective.
But in the end, it’s all about the patient.

We are committed to supporting research that will “pursue the disease and not the medication”.
