About

Northwest Suburban College offers an accelerated and affordable education at a unique, intercultural institution in the Chicago area.

NWSC strives to disseminate knowledge with passion and innovation, fostering each and every student’s educational goals. In order to serve a variety of students who will, in turn, serve society at large, the College offers various credentials, including allied health certification programs as well as associate and bachelor degrees. Our graduates’ achievements are made possible by NWSC’s low teacher-to-student ratio – providing one-on-one attention and a personalized education to each student – and our community affiliations with various externship and placement sites.

Our College of Basic and Allied Health Sciences (NWSC) offers multiple programs in two schools: the School of Basic Sciences (SBS) and the School of Allied Health Sciences (SAHS). The School of Basic Sciences offers an assortment of concentrations in the undergraduate fields of biology and chemistry as well as a physical therapist assistance program. The School of Allied Health Sciences offers certification programs in Medical Assistant, Dental Assistant, and Pharmacy Technician.
