If it happens in Texas, or has an effect on Texas our members are probably involved. WHIT members include public office holders, political candidates, business leaders, teachers, medical professional, lawyers, students, and Texans from all walks of life.
Created as a Facebook group, WHIT has grown far beyond its original bounds. It researches and issues policy statements on issues its members believe are important to the citizens of the state. Takes positions on legislative actions. Researches and interviews candidates for office, and when its members feel appropriate, endorse, or oppose candidates and/or legislation.
